We are looking for an experienced Estates/Facilities Manager to ensure all of the maintenance carried out for customer organisations is carried out to the required specification and standard.This is a temporary role for 3-6 months. 

As the Estates Manager you will monitor the operation and effectiveness of the maintenance contracts in place to  services, including the selection, appointment and monitoring of specialist maintenance contract staff and be required to provide judgement and decisions over wide range of complex operational estates technical issues, taking legislation, Health and Safety and available resources into consideration.

You will have direct full line management and supervision of approximately 30 multi-trade trade and supervisory staff and supervision of contract labour as appropriate. Identifying the training needs and keeping records for approximately 30 staff within the maintenance section will also be part of your role.  · 

We are ideally looking for a candidate educated to degree level with extensive post qualification experience. You will need specialist knowledge of building structures and engineering services.

The Estates Manager must be able to demonstrate management experience in a large multi service organisation and a proven successful track record delivering within timescales.

Salary is £42000 - £44000 paid as an hourly rate, weekly in arrears.
