Are you an experienced Manager looking for a role involving technical compliance and complex tax planning where you can develop a real niche for yourself? We are supporting a private client tax team in Southampton that has a flexible approach to work to find their new Tax Manager.
Working in a large tax team, as the new Tax Manager, you’ll be supported to develop tax planning specialisms so the team are able to deliver high quality advice to clients and you will have exposure to tax advisory projects which you will either lead or play a significant role in. You will have the opportunity to mentor and manage and grow the team too!
Other parts of your role as Tax Manager will include:
- Provide a range of tax services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large corporate entities.
- Handling and/or managing the tax compliance process (corporate and personal) for your nominated clients, liaising with clients to resolve queries, communicating with internal departments.
- overseeing client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met.
Tax advisory services will also be an important part of the role and assisting the partners in delivery of advisory projects
We’d really love to speak to you if you have experience in trusts, landed estates or stamp duty. An accountancy or tax qualification such as CTA, ACA or ACCA and several years of tax experience are essential for this role. You’ll need a collaborative outlook with a process mindset.
