Our client, based in Birmingham is looking to recruit a Service Centre Manager for their distribution centre. We are looking for someone who can create and drive a winning culture of positivity where everyone is motivated to achieve results and change is embraced.

As the Service Centre Manager you will be able to develop strong relationships with suppliers, identify new product opportunities and extend product ranges in order to meet the needs of customers and ensure the Service Centre’s processes and culture support their aim of eliminating risk for customers, enabling the business to become trusted partners in a quality critical supply chain.

You’ll be someone who can implement sales strategy, focusing on quality accounts and taking a planned proactive approach to develop and maintain business.

Part of your role will also be to ensure that the staffing structure, the procedures and systems, selling, warehouse and administration processes are adequate to achieve the results and support this sales strategy.

You’ll have a deep understanding of how return on investment and profit share systems work and use this knowledge to help with any decisions that this affects.

You will have strong business acumen and understand how a Service Centre works, being able to see business opportunities & potential pitfalls in strategies and ideas. The Service Centre Manager will be a strong communicator, an exceptional leader and possess negotiation skills that allow you to prepare for important negotiations on terms to generate the required level of ROI. 

Salary is neg DOE with ROI profit share bonus, a car allowance, 25 days holiday, private health care and pension amongst the benefits.
