We are looking for a Service and Repair Technician to provide after-sales product support for distributors, dealers and private end-user customer base. This role is a temporary position, ideally to start asap.
- Fault finding to component level, including replacing components through hole & surface mounts
- Competent at wiring assembly skills
- Mechanical assembly & re-wire
- Testing products for functionality and quality
- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions accurately
- Working knowledge of 2 channel, AV, Server & Network products
- Product inspection, problem solving & improvement activities
Skills and experience:
- Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft office
- Competent in the use of automated test equipment
- Competent in the use of signal generators and oscilloscopes
- High level of communication skills
- Numerate
- Problem solving skills
- Flexible team player, personable and professional behaviours.
- ONC / HNC level qualification in Electronics / Electronic Engineering would be beneficial
- Knowledge of analogue and digital circuits is essential.
