We are looking for a Secretary to support the partners of leading accountancy firm, based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. This is a full-time permanent position.
As the Secretary, you will be responsible for:
- Audio and copy typing of general correspondence (including drafting of own correspondence), reports, minutes of meetings, memos, file notes, etc.
- Production of client portfolios and spreadsheets
- Co-ordination of billing
- Taking full control of diary movements, arranging appointments, meetings and lunches
- Responsibility for travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Prepare documents for meetings
- Attend meetings and take minutes
- Answering calls quickly and politely, passing on messages and phoning out to confirm appointments when needed.
- Amending client details and ensuring database information kept up to date.
Skills and experience required:
- Excellent IT skills specifically in depth knowledge of MS Office
- Good grammar and spelling
- Be able to produce documents accurately and quickly
- Fast and accurate audio typing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a pressurised environment with the ability to prioritise work
Salary: £23,000 – 24,500 depending on experience
