As the new Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you’ll be joining a business renowned for its craftsmanship and professionalism
Working Hours are Mon–Thurs: 8:00am–5:30pm Fri: 8:00am–5:00pm, Competitive, negotiable salary of up to £60000 based on experience, company car allowance, pension, sick pay, casual dress code and on site parking!
This dual Quantity Surveyor / Estimator role requires expertise in Quantity Surveying and Estimating. You will be instrumental in managing projects from tender through to completion, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Contracts Managers and the Joinery Manager to initiate secured projects.
- Set up and maintain QS contract paperwork and folders.
- Issue orders to supply chain sub-contractors and material suppliers.
- Attend pre-project and site meetings as needed.
- Provide cost updates as projects progress.
- Prepare interim valuations, invoices, and final accounts for client agreements.
- Finalize accounts with sub-contractors and approve their invoices.
- Oversee multiple on-site projects simultaneously across various clients.g
- Review initial tender enquiries and compile accurate project estimates.
- Obtain quotes from supply chain sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Develop scopes of work or utilize client schedules effectively.
