We are supporting this fabulous business to recruit a new Quality Inspector to support the QS Manager, delivering all aspects of the Quality Assurance function. You'll be working in a team environment within the manufacturing and the supplier areas, to develop and implement best practices that emphasise defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste.
Day to day your role as Quality Inspector will include:
- Coordinate with purchasing department to provide data to monitor supplier performance, generating regular reports where appropriate and administering corrective actions as necessary
- Complete internal audits to enhance process standardization and waste elimination
- Inspect products to identify potential issues
- Manage first off sample approvals
