This business based on the outskirts of Salisbury is looking for a Quality Control Technician to provide support for the chemical and biochemical analyses within the Analytical QC department to support the manufacturing process.
As the Quality Control Technician your day to day tasks will include performing stock checks and maintaining stock levels for laboratory consumables, placing orders for all consumables, data entry into Excel spreadsheets and other databases as well as delivery of samples between departments.
You will also perform basic QC tests, such as conductivity and description testing, and ensure documentation practices are followed when completing the necessary documentation, such as QC forms, whilst maintaining training records and keeping accurate records and filing systems. Organising calibration and scheduled maintenance of basic analytical laboratory equipment will also be part of the Quality Technicians role.
Experience of following written instruction is key in this role, as it excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft system. You will also need 2 A levels or equivalent in a numerate or science subjects. Training and ongoing career development are supported so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress with a company long term.
