Are you an experienced merchandiser who would be able to support this charity one day a week? As the Part Time Merchandising Manager you will be managing the Shopify store, handling inventory, liaising with suppliers, and contributing to the design of new merchandise. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce and strong organisational skills.
Working 8 hours per week which are flexible, this is a remote role with an hourly pay rate of £20 per hour and is an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and collaborate with a passionate and supportive team.You will need to be able to travel on occasion to Wiltshire/Dorset to attend team meetings.
Your key responsibilities as the Part Time Merchandising Manager will include:
- Manage and update the Shopify store, including product listings, pricing and promotional content.
- Monitor site performance, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Process orders and handle customer inquiries related to merchandise.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring stock availability and timely restocking.
- Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock replenishment and deliveries.
- develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Ensure all products meet SwimTayka’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new merchandise ideas.
- Assist in the design process, providing input on product trends and customer preferences.
- Manage the production process from concept to finished product, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Track sales performance and report on key metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving merchandise offerings and sales strategies.
We'd love the new Part Time Merchandising Manager to have experience managing e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify and also:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative flair with a good eye for design and trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in merchandise or retail management.
- Background in graphic design or product development.Knowledge of sustainability practices in merchandise production.
