We are seeking a skilled Machine Shop Operator to join a family-run business with more than 50 years of experience in tube manipulation and bending. In your role as the Machine Shop Operator, you will be responsible for operating both CNC and manual milling machines to produce precision components for tube bending applications.
You will work 38 hours per week over 4 days, Monday – Thursday from 07:15 am – 17:50 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
Your key responsibilities as the Machine Shop Operator:
- Operate CNC and manual milling machines.
- Set up machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tools and fixtures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
