We are looking to recruit an HR & Recruitment Officer to join our clients growing but small and friendly team. It is working for a charitable organisation based just outside of Salisbury. You will work closely with the HR Manager and HR Director delivering an agile, effective HR service across the group.  We are also currently recruiting an HR Assistant.

This role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract.

As the HR & Recruitment Officer your will, be:

  • Providing first line support and guidance on HR queries, policies and procedures to both line managers and colleagues to help deliver a great colleague experience
  • Managing the recruitment process from drafting job descriptions, adverts, recruitment campaigns to onboarding and induction processes as well as carrying out pre-screening telephone interviews and co-ordinating all face-to-face interviews and assessment sessions
  • Managing the onboarding process through to completion; induction, paperwork, right to work, DBS and reference checks
  • Supporting the HR Manager with investigations relating to capability, disciplinary and grievance
  • Supporting learning and development initiatives and coach the HR Administrator/others to develop their skillsets
  • Managing the probationary review and absence management process
  • Co-ordinating exit interviews and tracking reasons for leaving
  • Producing a range of HR metrics by analysing and interpreting key data to help managers with evidence-based decision making

To become the HR & Recruitment Officer you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Be an experienced HR generalist working in a fast-paced environment
  • Have experience in all stages of the colleague life cycle and with a strong track record of recruiting talent
  • Have up-to-date working knowledge and application experience of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience in managing HR projects

This is a full time post with a salary of c25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
