We are looking for a Goods In Supervisor for a growing business based in Salisbury. As the Goods In Supervisor, you will have 3 direct supports and your team will control the movement of materials and goods in to support various areas of productions. You may need to liaise with purchasing and production management to solve any issues and problems.
Other tasks will include:
- Ensure all paperwork is kept up to date
- Ensure team members are working to the correct company practices, raising any issues with management
- Communicate any concerns relating to the availability or quality of materials to the production manager
- Responsible for all material control to all location areas
- Accurately record the movement and availability of goods
- Monitor quality of incoming materials & act upon any problems accordingly
- Ensure H&S is adhered to at all times
To be successful in your role at Goods in Supervisor you will be able to effectively communicate at all levels, be a hands on supervisor, leading by example, as well as be organised and have a methodical approach to stock control. Previous experience in production and manufacturing is ideal. You must also hold a current forklift licence.
