An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to construct, own and manage the financial framework within 2 local businesses connected to Salisbury District Hospital (Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust) reporting to the company directors. As the Financial Controller you will establish, implement and maintain robust controls and related policies. This is a role where you will have the opportunity to utilise your skills, knowledge and ideas to not only lead organisational change but to give back and make a difference to the wider community.
Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant and have worked in commercial environments across diverse industries and have extensive knowledge of commercial performance including forecasting, budgets, cash flow and P&L as you will highlighting trends, variances, issues and anomalies. Production of Management and Statutory accounts as well as implementing reporting synergies across both organisations where appropriate are all part of the role and you will be aware of and responsive to issues relating to PAYE, VAT, and Corporation tax.
