A fantastic opportunity has become vacant to work for a fantastic established business in Salisbury city centre as a Facilities Assistant. The role is part time (8am – 2pm) and initially a 14 month contract.

You will be responsible for providing hands-on day to day support to the Facilities Manager to ensure that all of the Firm's buildings run smoothly and efficiently.

As the Facilities Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

  • Management of facilities support calls system ensuring calls are dealt with promptly
  • Monitoring the back office work areas to ensure that lighting, toilets, kitchens etc are maintained to a high standard
  • Oversee the ordering of office stationery, tea/coffee, sanitisers, etc.
  • Car parking arrangements
  • Fuel card admin
  • Display screen equipment and workstation assessments (inc pregnancy assessments)
  • First level Health & Safety administration
  • Liaison with office cleaners
  • Post duties including liaison with Royal Mail and DX, and franking machines

To be successful in applying for the Facilities Assistant you will have:

  • Experience in administration
  • Facilities experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills with experience using databases
