Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our client's dedicated and supportive busy team in Salisbury,

As an Aluminium Fabricator, you'll be an integral part of the fabrication team, working on diverse commercial projects in a modern fabrication facility with, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards. Working hours are 39.5 per week, with a competitive salary and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities as the Aluminium Fabricator, includes:

  • Operate CNC equipment, mitre saws, routers, pillar drills, corner cleaners, and crimpers
  • Read, understand and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Meet daily production targets as per the production schedule
  • Maintain a 'right first time' approach to ensure quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with quality control and health & safety teams
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy and well-organised, including waste management
  • Report any equipment issues, deficiencies or safety concerns to management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience as a metal Fabricator
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Competent in using power tools and fabrication machinery
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities
  • Flexible approach and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong timekeeping and workload prioritisation skills
