Are you an experienced Customer Service Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? We are recruiting for a Customer Service Manager to join a local and established business, that are world renowned for what they do. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday.
As the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Customer Services Department ensuring a consistent high standard of service. As well as setting of objectives, coaching and performance monitoring of the team and management of large trade accounts.
We are looking for a well organised person with experience of managing a small team. Someone who is keen to lead in a time of change, helping shape the department for the future. We require someone with confidence and energy.
Experience working in a product environment would be beneficial. Any interest or knowledge of classic vehicles is an advantage but not essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure new and existing staff are sufficiently trained in procedures and practices.
- Review and update existing procedures and create new procedures where required.
- Manage the layout of the department to maximise effectiveness and fluidity of work.
- Manage department staff absence, holidays, department staff appraisals and disciplines.
- Create and implement a Customer Relationship Management system.
- Analyse and present sales data to the business.
- Assist with the Company multi-media communication and marketing materials.
- Manage outside postage contractors and cost.
- Hold an informal weekly department meeting.
- Review Returns product to understand any patterns.
- Act as Complaints Manager.
- Setting of objectives, coaching and performance monitoring of the team.
In return, you will receive a salary of circa £35,000 depending on experience.
