Key Responsibilities (tailored to experience level)
- Manage client portfolios and build strong, lasting relationships
- Handle client relationship management including quoting, agreeing services, invoicing, payment methods, and annual engagement renewals
- Assist in (or lead) the preparation of management and annual accounts, forecasts, and performance reports
- Participate in client meetings and provide financial advice and support
- For senior roles: Build connections with professional contacts (IFAs, solicitors, financial institutions) to secure referrals
- For senior roles: Mentor and support team members, providing feedback and training
- Work collaboratively with Directors and the wider team
What We're Looking For
- Working towards or already ACCA/ACA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Accountancy practice experience OR commercial finance experience with a desire to move into practice
- Understanding of UK accounting standards and tax legislation
- Proficient (or willing to learn) accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Professional, organised, and analytical approach
- Eagerness to learn and develop
Desirable:
- Tax experience
- Client management experience
- Mentoring or training experience
