We are looking for a Cleanroom Assitant to join this team based in Codford. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of the cleanroom, ensuring processes are followed, stock levels are managed, and records are kept up to date. As the Cleanroom Assistant, you will also assist with cleaning of ancillary equipment, conduct daily checks on fridge/freezer temperatures and manage stock requirements.
In this role you'll be working on-site - Monday to Friday 8-4.30 with half an hour lunch Monday to Friday. The starting hourly pay rate will be £12.50 per hour. You will have access to a modern canteen, be working in a clean, state of the art working environment and have your workwear provided!
Key Responsibilities as the Cleanroom Assistant include:
- Clean and maintain the cleanroom and associated equipment following Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed and all paperwork is accurately maintained.
- Perform daily fridge/freezer temperature checks.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, assisting with the implementation of a kanban system to prevent shortages.
- Handle and clean barrels, with some moderate lifting (6kg when empty, up to 10kg when full).
- Assist with other tasks as directed and engage in minimal flower work.
About You:
- Experience: Ideally, you have a background in food processing, warehouse or a similar role such as a school technician - but full training is provided.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, good record-keeping abilities, and the capacity to handle moderate physical work.
- Compliance: An enhanced DBS (eDBS) check will be required.
- Team Player: You will be part of a supportive team and have the opportunity to learn and grow in the role.
