Administrator

Office Administrator - South of Salisbury

Are you organised, practical and looking for a varied office-based role? We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Administrator to join our busy team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being organised, keeping things running smoothly and supporting a team where no two days are necessarily the same. Working in a modern office environment, benefits include free parking, company social events and importantly, the opportunity for training, growth and progression. The team works together and managers encourage 'playing to individuals strengths' to expand skills and knowledge to help support career progression. Hours are Monday to Friday 9-5.

You'll be based in the office, supporting Contracts and Project Management teams and reporting to the Contracts Administration Manager.

As the new Administrator, you'll provide day-to-day administrative support to the team, helping to ensure our projects are well organised and the right information is available when it's needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to Contracts Managers.

  • Printing drawings and organising project files, as well as supporting the wider office team with general administration as required such as organising site permits, ordering materials and creating project files.

  • Maintaining project records and ensuring documentation is accurate, organised and easily accessible.

  • Managing customer and contractor online portals when.

  • Assisting with the preparation of documentation for construction sites.

  • Helping the Contracts and Project Management teams keep on top of day-to-day paperwork and project administration.

  • 'Mucking In' when needed - for example, taking delivery and unloading of stock items.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and proactive, with a positive attitude and the ability to get stuck in and support the wider team. This might include helping hands-on with taking in warehouse deliveries.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous administration experience.

  • Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail.

  • The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

  • The ability to work well as part of a busy and supportive team.

  • A professional and approachable manner.

  • The confidence to ask questions, learn new processes and take responsibility for your work.

Previous experience within construction or a project-based environment would be useful, but isn't essential. What's most important is that you're organised, willing to learn and enjoy being part of a team.

If you're someone who likes being organised, enjoys supporting others and wants a role where you can make a real contribution, we'd love to hear from you.
